I enjoy suggesting little-known (but well-written) books to kids who then like them and tell their friends and families.

what makes Tom’s imagination grow?
I am inspired by hearing good storytellers. The more I write and tell stories, the better I get at it. My favorite quote from fiction is, “An act of compassion anywhere breeds caring everywhere.” from “Door into Ocean” by Joan Slonczewski.
