Colors of the Moon Wire-O Journal

While the moon itself does not change colors, it transforms from our perspective, depending on its position relative to the sun and earth's horizon, combined with the scattering of light caused by fluctuations in our lower atmosphere (such as humidity and cloud levels). Colors of the Moon was published by Nasa in November of 2020 as the Astronomy Picture of the Day.
