About the Author

Sarah Klymkiw is a freelance educator and writer who has worked for over 10years in sustainable fashion education and grassroots clothes repairinitiatives. She is a lecturer at several London universities, including theLondon College of Fashion. She has also written about ethical fashion for the Guardianand acted as consultant on sustainability for the BBC’s Great British SewingBee and V&A fashion projects. Her most recent initiative is calledWorn Well, helping Londoners to learn how to fix their clothes. Sarah says, “Never has it been so important toconsider the impact that our clothing choices have on our planet. After readingthis book, I want young people to shake up the fashion world - to demandanswers and to take action both as conscious consumers and active citizens.
