In an enchanted world full of magical creatures, a group of Gemstone Dragons live in Sparkle Cave. Each dragon has a unique gemstone with a magical power! Sometimes their powers get the dragons into trouble, but there’s no problem they can’t overcome by working together.

Topaz is scared of the dark! She doesn’t want the other dragons to think she’s not brave, so she uses her power over light every single night . . . until her power suddenly stops working! Topaz tries to hide her problem, but when disaster strikes and the other dragons need Topaz’s help, she'll have to trust her friends and find a way to face her fear.

About the Author

Samantha M. Clark is the author of the middle grade novels The Boy, the Boat and the Beast (winner of the SCBWI 2019 Texas/Oklahoma Crystal Kite Award) and Arrow.
