SUSAN AZIM BOYER writes young adult fiction featuring Iranian American heroines. She has a screenwriting certificate from UCLA, and wrote and directed the independent feature All You Need. Her scripts have finaled in several competitions, and she took first place in the YARWA Rosemary Awards for Historical Fiction. Jasmine Zumideh Needs a Win is her YA fiction debut. She lives in the Palm Springs area with her husband, Wayne, and her Pug mix, Teddy. her son, Alec, lives in New York.
