Epic loves skateboarding, but after moving to a new neighborhood and struggling to find his new skating crew, he ditches his board to try out other sports.

Dejected and defeated, Epic heads home, where his dad encourages him to stay true to himself. So Epic takes another skate through the neighborhood and finds a new groove and some new friends who like him for who he is.

About the Author

Frank Morrison works as a fine artist and is the award-winning illustrator of many books for children, including RESPECT: Aretha Franklin, the Queen of Soul, for which he won the Coretta Scott King Illustrator Award; Our Children Can Soar, winner of an NAACP Image Award; and Jazzy Miz Mozetta, for which he won the Coretta Scott King/John Steptoe New Talent Award.
