Explore the seven tenets of the Indian medical system Ayurveda, such as sleep, exercise, meditation, and nutrition! Learn about wellness with Om Child, a beautiful cased board book series that introduces familiar and important concepts for little yogis ages 3–5.

It's important to be healthy in our bodies and minds! But what does wellness mean to a toddler? Om Child explains wellness in simple terms and adorable artwork to little readers through concrete activities such as "move your body," "eat healthy," "be kind to yourself," and "be with people you love." These are familiar concepts for children, but Om Child frames these concepts through Ayurveda and gives them important vocabulary.Om Child: I Am Well concludes this mindful board book series by teaching children about Ayurveda—the holistic mind-and-body system developed in India. Each spread shares one aspect of Ayurveda using limited text that follows a clear "cause-and-effect" pattern so that these concepts are accessible for young readers. The day begins with yoga and flows into meal time, hobbies, time spent with loved ones, and ends with rest.Like the previous three books in the Om Child series, I Am Well features Sandhya Prabhat's sweet, adorable, and diverse cast of children. This cased board book is great for guardians and educators who want to encourage and equip young ones with wellness, a lifelong routine.
