About the Author

Dr. Virginia Loh-Hagan, a second-generation Chinese American, is the director of the San Diego State University's APIDA Center, and her books include PoPo's Lucky Chinese New Year. She lives in San Diego, California.

Tracy Nishimura Bishop is a fourth generation Japanese American, and she has illustrated many picture and chapter books. She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
