1.1 What are your shipping options?
We currently ship nationwide and offer two flat-rate shipping options: expedited shipping for $14.99 and economy shipping for $7.99. We are proud supporters and customers of the United States Postal Service!
We also currently offer free local delivery (Los Altos, Menlo Park, Mountain View, Palo Alto, Portola Valley, or Stanford) for all orders that are $50 or more (pretax). Or select in-store pickup at checkout and pick up your order anytime during normal store hours. (Just give us a few hours to put your order together.)
1.2 What are the expected delivery times?
Delivery times vary depending on the shipping method selected (and assume items are in stock):
For expedited shipping, we typically use USPS Priority Mail. Once your order is processed and you receive a shipping notification, you should receive it within 3 business days.
For economy shipping, we typically use USPS Media Mail, unless your order includes items other than books (which cannot be shipped media mail). Once your order is processed and you receive a shipping notification, you should receive it within 7-10 business days.
For delivery, you should receive your order within 2-3 days of placing it.
Please note that we don't process online orders on weekends or holidays. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed on the next business day.
2.1 What is your return policy?
We accept returns as long as the items are unused, undamaged, and you have a receipt (printed or email).
If you're returning within 14 days of purchase, you can get a full refund or store credit. If you're returning more than 14 days after purchase, you can still get store credit.
Sorry, no returns for plush toys, puppets, or sale items.
If you're returning an item purchased online, email us at [email protected] and let us know to expect your return. In your email, make sure to include your name, order number, and if you are looking for a refund, store credit or exchange.
3.1 Can my order be gift wrapped?
Yes! For orders placed online, we charge $1 per item to be wrapped.
Please indicate at checkout if there are items in your order that will not be wrapped and please add to your cart the number of gift wraps to match the number of items we will wrap for you.
3.2 Do you offer gift cards?
Yes! You can purchase Linden Tree gift cards online here:
Gift cards can be redeemed in-store or online.
