About the Author

Terri Libenson grew up in Kingston, Pennsylvania, where she became the first girl in her immediate family to have a bat mitzvah. Like Bri, she was terrible at Hebrew. Unlike Bri, she didn’t really mind all the attention. Since then, Terri has helped plan her own daughters’ bat mitzvahs, which made her proud and temporarily insane. Terri is the award-winning cartoonist of the internationally syndicated comic strip The Pajama Diaries as well as the bestselling author of Invisible Emmie, Positively Izzy, and Just Jaime.
