Linden Tree is looking for an enthusiastic community member to join our team as our Events Coordinator! In this role you will work closely with the current Linden Tree management team, as well as the general booksellers, to envision and run events both in the bookstore and offsite. People with bookstore and/or publishing experience are particularly encouraged to apply.
Linden Tree is a friendly, inclusive space for everyone with books ranging from board books for newborns all the way up to dense adult nonfiction. We believe that books are for everyone. We are looking for someone who is a passionate reader but who also loves to talk about books with people. We need someone who is organized, detail oriented, compassionate, responsible, approachable, understanding, and a little silly when needed. We expect our events, both on-site and off, to reflect our store in every way.

This position averages 15-20 hours per week, hourly pay commensurate with experience. You will also get access to our advanced readers' copies (and more mailed directly to you from publishers!) as well as our generous employee discount.

Nestled on a tree-lined street in downtown Los Altos, Linden Tree Books has been helping readers discover the magic of books for nearly forty years.
