Lizzy is a biologist with a focus on Ecology, with more than 13 years of professional experience, mainly in the public sector. She worked at the Directorate of Climate Change Adaptation and Desertification of the Ministry of the Environment, serving as a Climate Change Adaptation Specialist and international negotiator on issues related to adaptation and loss and damage under the Paris Agreement (COP26, COP27, and COP28). She provides technical assistance on climate change issues, particularly related to ecosystems (forests, puna, and glaciers), as well as on adaptation measures. 

Ricardo Guerrero is an editor with a background in History, Sociology, and Cultural Studies, and over twenty years of experience in the publishing industry and the media. Passionate about educational outreach and edutainment, he has led the creation of books in a wide range of formats, including manuals, collections, encyclopedias, teaching materials, teacher’s guides, textbooks, workbooks, and children’s stories, both in print and digital formats. In recent years, he has worked on the development of content in Indigenous languages and on outreach projects focused on environmental conservatio Melissa Siles (Lima, 1992) is, strictly speaking, an analog editorial illustrator — and sometimes, as she herself says, a digital one.

A lover of chickens, the extinct Tasmanian tigers, and David Lynch films, Melissa studied Art with a major in Graphic Design at PUCP (Pontifical Catholic University of Peru) and Art Direction at ELISAVA. She has illustrated books such as Cocinando con Palomitas (2022), Incas:Una gran historia (2023), Festín (2023), Fun Is a Serious Business (2024), and now Ancient Cultures of Peru: 5000 Years of History from Caral to the Incas (2024).
