About the Author

Dominique Furukawa is a licensed clinical social worker and foster youth advocate. She is passionate about teaching little people big things in a way they can understand. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and wonderful children.Erika Lynne Jones is an illustrator and author of children’s books that serve as affirming celebrations of culture. Her mission is for every child to know that they are worthy of good and to see images of themselves in literature. She is the illustrator of The Loud Librarian, written by Jenna Beatrice. Erika grew up in St. Louis, MO, and lives in Dallas, TX, with her husband and three daughters.
