About the Author

Ravinder Bhogal was born in Kenya to Indian parents. A journalist, chef, and restaurateur, her debut restaurant, Jikoni, earned place in the Michelin Guide the year it opened. She has authored two books, including the IACP award–winning Jikoni and the Gourmand World Cookbook Award–winning Cook in Boots. She is a food columnist for the FT Weekend Magazine and Guardian Feast, a Harper’s Bazaar contributing editor, and a regular writer for the Observer Magazine and Vogue online. She lives in London.
