Tomislav Tomić (Zagreb, Croacia, 1977) es un reconocido ilustrador croata, célebre por sus dibujos a pluma y tinta de gran detalle, inspirados en el estilo de los grabados renacentistas. Su obra se caracteriza por una minuciosidad que transporta al lector a mundos mágicos y fantásticos, con un atractivo tanto para niños como para adultos. Se graduó en la Academia de Bellas Artes de Zagreb, pero comenzó a publicar ilustraciones en libros y revistas desde que era un adolescente. Ha trabajado con editoriales de prestigio como Macmillan Children’s Books, Oxford University Press, Puffin, Scholastic, Bloomsbury, Templar Publishing, entre otras.

Tomislav Tomić (Zagreb, Croatia, 1977) is a renowned Croatian illustrator, celebrated for his highly detailed pen-and-ink drawings inspired by the style of Renaissance engravings. His work is characterized by meticulousness that transports readers to magical and fantastical worlds, appealing to both children and adults. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, but began publishing illustrations in books and magazines as a teenager. He has collaborated with prestigious publishers such as Macmillan Children’s Books, Oxford University Press, Puffin, Scholastic, Bloomsbury, Templar Publishing, among others.
Later he collaborated on the
Hogwarts Library books (2017) and more recently illustrated
The Guardian’s Bestiary for Katherine Rundell’s novel
