I start on a cloud...
And then fall through the sky...
When I land in a puddle I make a
SPLASH!From wispy vapor to chunks of hail,
I'm a Raindrop provides an energetic overview of the water cycle. Whether assembling to create streams, rivers, and oceans or falling through the sky as a lone rain drop, this book illustrates all of the exciting forms that water takes throughout the day.
Accessible, spare text makes this the perfect primer on environmental science for even the youngest readers whether at home or in the classroom.
About the Author
Tjitske Kamphuis is a self-taught artist and illustrator. She grew up in the Netherlands and loved drawing from an early age, playing in the countryside, cycling and boating along canals and looking after a large collection of pets and wild animals. After her studies at the University of Amsterdam she travelled and worked in different countries before settling in Canterbury, England, where she lives with her husband and twin sons. She always finds inspiration in nature, long walks up hills, and looking at the sky.
I’m a Cloud was Tjitske’s author–illustrator debut.
