Little Trips: To the Grocery Store!: An Interactive Picture Book

Carter Higgins is the author of many books for young readers, including A Story is to Share: How Ruth Krauss Found Another Way to Tell a Tale, Everything You Need for a Treehouse, which was an NPR Best Book of the Year, Bikes for Sale, and the chapter book series Audrey L & Audrey W: Best Friends-ish. Circle Under Berry, her first book as both author and illustrator, received two starred reviews. Higgins is a creative storyteller who designs playful experiences around visual literacy and believes the wit of kids’ language is the best poetry of all. She is an Emmy Award–winning visual effects and motion graphics artist and spent a decade as an elementary school librarian. Higgins lives in Henrico, Virginia. Dawn Lo is an illustrator who grew up in both Hong Kong and Vancouver. Her illustrations have appeared in Hello Baby, It’s Me, Alfie by Maggie Hutching, the Sally’s Puppy Adventures series by Andrew Larsen, and many more. Besides drawing and reading, grocery shopping is one of her favorite activities. She enjoys visiting different grocery stores and discovering new snacks to share with friends! She lives in Vancouver.
