About the Author

MEILIN CHAN is a children's book author who finally found what she wants to be when she grows up. She enjoys writing about wild adventures she wishes she could have and difficult situations she is grateful to avoid. When she's not writing, she's likely making scary faces at nut-stealing squirrels by her almond trees with her daughters and husband in Northern California. Like Tai, she adores chocolate coins and magical animals and would love to ride a dragon. This is her first picture book.
