A standalone middle grade fantasy by P.G. Bell and inspired by Little Red Riding Hood about a girl accused of killing a famous wolf and forced to solve his murder while on the run!

At twelve years old, Ruby Calvino is the youngest human player in the Tooth & Claw championships—a sport where teams try to raise flags in the center of an arena while being hunted by a wolf. It’s Ruby's fast legs and even faster mind that leaves her as the last human player during the final game, and she's ready to claim victory. But when the undefeated Alarick—the wolf player hunting her—is finally upon her, he…drops dead?

With poison found in Ruby’s bag, all fingers (and paws!) point to her. Desperate to prove her innocence, she teams up with a young wolf who works at the arena. But figuring out who killed Alarick won’t be easy while on the run from cops and another vicious wolf.

Luckily, Ruby’s Tooth & Claw training just might come in handy!
