About the Author
Amanda Wood was the founding editor and publisher of Templar for more than 30 years. In her time there, she published and nurtured numerous Greenaway winners and edited and created groundbreaking series such as The Ologies, which has sold over 19 million copies worldwide. Today she writes and runs her own small press from her home in Surrey. Jo Rioux is an author, illustrator and lifelong space cadet who flies by the seat of her rocket pants. Since graduating Sheridan College with a degree in illustration, she has illustrated picture books and novels, but her favorite medium remains comics. Rioux ’s debut graphic novel, Cat ’s Cradle, went on to win the 2012 Joe Shuster Award for Best Comic for Kids and has recently been picked up for rerelease by First Second Books. Rioux lives in the tiny village of Carp, Canada.
