Ages 3 to 5, Grades P to K

A fun and heartwarming story that teaches us the value of every creature, reminding us all that harmony comes from embracing differences.

Welcome to Sophie’s farm! Life is peaceful, filled with the friendly sounds of happy animals—except for one. The loud, croaky frog by the pond drives Sophie crazy. But when Sophie chases away the frog, everything on her farm starts to fall apart. No eggs! No milk! Mosquitoes everywhere! Could that pesky croak have been more important than Sophie thought?

This funny and charming tale is a reminder that what we dismiss as unimportant might just be the missing piece we need.

GENTLE MESSAGE OF PATIENCE: This reassuring picture book gently demonstrates the importance of patience and embracing differences.

FUNNY READ-ALOUD: Kids will delight in the funny drama in Sophie’s farm after the frog is chased away.

Perfect for:

  • Kids who are learning to process big feelings and practice patience
  • A humorous bedtime or story time book
  • Parents, teachers, and educators who are looking for books about understanding differences
  • Parents, grandparents, and caregivers who love animals
  • Gifts for birthday or summer reading
