Ever since he was a kid, Fielder Lemon’s large, opinionated Italian family has lived next to Ricky DeLuca and his large, opinionated Italian family. For almost as long, Fielder and Ricky have been dating—until Ricky breaks up with him right before senior year.

A year later, Fielder hasn’t talked to or seen Ricky once. But when his cousin announces that he’s marrying Ricky’s sister in Italy this summer and he wants the whole family to come, Fielder decides that a wedding in an Italian lemon grove is the perfect setting to rekindle their relationship.

About the Author

Steven Salvatore is a chaos agent whose obsessions include exploring Italy, being Italian (Sicilian, not Italian-American!), and having and then dissecting existential crises. For twelve years, he was a studied, accomplished writing professor having held many positions within higher education spheres; though still teaching, he's now an academic advisor at Manhattanville University.
