About the Author

Sofia Cardoso is an illustrator and designer who specializes in children’s illustration. She currently lives and creates from Portugal.

Sofia Sanchez is a fifth-grade student, actress, model, and self-advocate for Down syndrome. She has appeared in campaigns for brands like Target, Hallmark, and American Girl and made appearances on The Today Show and ABC World News Tonight. Sofia loves people, and she first went viral for her video that told the world "Down syndrome is not scary… it’s exciting!" When she’s not speaking up and following her dreams, Sofia loves to sing, do ballet, eat, and give hugs! Margaret "Meg" O'Hair is a mom to two kids, a kindergarten teacher, and an award-winning writer. She likes to be on the water -- whether it’s on boats, kayaks, or paddleboards-- with her family and their three Portuguese water dogs, Sailor, Surfer, and Sundance. Meg has been inspired to write books about Sofia from the first day they met, including their picture books You Are Enough and You Are Loved.
