About the Author

Stephen Davies is the author of over thirty children’s books, including Amazon bestseller The Ancient Egypt Sleepover and comic strip myths series Myths, Mummies, and Magic in Ancient Egypt. Stephen grew up in Devon, U.K., worked in Burkina Faso for fourteen years (producing radio plays), and now lives in London. He enjoys visiting schools to encourage young people in their own creative writing. Violaine Leroy is an author and illustrator based in Strasbourg, France. She received her diploma from the Haute École des Arts du Rhin, Strasbourg, and has since been illustrating for graphic novels, children's books, newspapers, and other commissions. Violaine is a founding member of "Les Rhubarbus," an artist collective that works with a variety of art forms to create playful exhibitions.
